Κεφάλαιο 114

1. ΟΤΑΝ ο Ισραήλ βγήκε από την Αίγυπτο, ο οίκος τού Ιακώβ από έναν βάρβαρο λαό,

2. ο Ιούδας έγινε άγιός του, ο Ισραήλ δεσποτεία του.

3. Η θάλασσα είδε και έφυγε· ο Ιορδάνης, στράφηκε προς τα πίσω·

4. τα βουνά σκίρτησαν σαν κριάρια, οι λόφοι σαν αρνιά.

5. Τι σου συνέβηκε θάλασσα, ότι έφυγες; και εσύ Ιορδάνη, ότι στράφηκες προς τα πίσω;

6. Τα όρη, ότι σκιρτήσατε σαν κριάρια; και οι λόφοι, σαν αρνιά;

7. Τρέμε, γη, από το πρόσωπο του Κυρίου, από το πρόσωπο του Θεού τού Ιακώβ·

8. ο οποίος μετέβαλε την πέτρα σε λίμνες νερών, τον σκληρό βράχο σε πηγές νερών.
