Κεφάλαιο 101

1. ΕΛΕΟΣ και κρίση θα ψάλλω· σε σένα, Κύριε, θα ψαλμωδώ.

2. Θα είμαι συνετός σε άμωμο δρόμο· πότε θάρθεις σε μένα; Θα περπατώ με ακεραιότητα της καρδιάς μου, μέσα στον οίκο μου.

3. Δεν θα βάλω μπροστά στα μάτια μου πονηρό πράγμα· μισώ εκείνους που πράττουν παρανομίες· τίποτε απ' αυτά δεν θα κολληθεί σε μένα.

4. Η διεστραμμένη καρδιά θα αποβληθεί από μένα· τον πονηρό δεν θα τον γνωρίζω.

5. Εκείνον που καταλαλεί κρυφά τον πλησίον του, αυτόν θα τον εξολοθρεύω· εκείνον που έχει υπερήφανο βλέμμα, και υπερήφανη καρδιά, αυτόν δεν θα τον υποφέρω.

6. Τα μάτια μου θα είναι επάνω στους πιστούς τής γης, για να συγκατοικούν μαζί μου· εκείνος που περπατάει σε άμωμο δρόμο, αυτός θα με υπηρετεί.

7. Δεν θα κατοικεί στο μέσον τού οίκου μου εκείνος που εργάζεται την απάτη· εκείνος που μιλάει το ψέμα δεν θα στερεωθεί μπροστά στα μάτια μου.

8. Κάθε πρωί θα εξολοθρεύω όλους τούς ασεβείς τής γης, για να κόψω ολοκληρωτικά από την πόλη τού Θεού όλους τούς εργάτες τής ανομίας.
