1. Lokho okwakukhona kwasekuqaleni, esakuzwa, sakubona ngamehlo ethu, sakubheka, nezandla zethu zakuphatha, okwezwi lokuphila —

2. lokho kuphila kwabonakaliswa, sakubona, siyaqinisa sinishumayeza lokho kuphila okuphakade okwakukhona kuYise, kwabonakaliswa kithina —

3. lokho esikubonileyo, sakuzwa, sinishumayeza khona nani, ukuze nani nibe nenhlanganyelo nathi. Kepha thina sinenhlanganyelo noYise naneNdodana yakhe uJesu Kristu.

4. Sesiyanilobela lokhu, ukuze intokozo yenu iphelele.

5. Nanti izwi esalizwa kuye, sinishumayeza lona lokuthi uNkulunkulu ungukukhanya, ubumnyama abukho kuye nakanye.

6. Uma sithi sinenhlanganyelo naye sibe sisahamba ebumnyameni, sinamanga, asenzi iqiniso;

7. kepha uma sihamba ekukhanyeni, njengalokhu yena uqobo esekukhanyeni, khona sinenhlanganyelo omunye nomunye, negazi likaJesu iNdodana yakhe liyasihlambulula ezonweni zonke.

8. Uma sithi asinasono, siyazikhohlisa, neqiniso alikho kithi.

9. Uma sizivuma izono zethu, uthembekile, ulungile ukuba asithethelele izono, asihlambulule kukho konke ukungalungi.

10. Uma sithi asonanga, simenza umqambimanga, nezwi lakhe alikho kithi.
