باب 85

1. اَے خُداوند! تُو اپنے مُلک پر مہربان رہا ہے ۔ تُو یعقُوب کو اسیری سے وآپس لایا ہے۔

2. تُو نے اپنے لوگوں کی بدکاری معُاف کردی ہے۔ تُو نے اُنکے سب گُناہ ڈھانک دِئے ہیں۔

3. تُو نے اپنے غضب بالکُل اُٹھا لیا ۔ تُو اپنے قہرِ شدید سے باز آیا ہے۔

4. اَے ہمارے نجات دینے والے خُدا! ہمکو بحال کر۔ اپنے غضب ہم سے دُور کر۔

5. کیا تُو سدا ہم سے ناراض رہیگا؟ کیا تُو اپنے قہر کو پشت در پُشت جاری رکھیگا؟

6. کیا تُو ہمکو پھر زِندہ کریگا تاکہ تیرے لوگ تجھ میں شادمان ہوں ؟

7. اَے خُداوند! تُو اپنی شفقت ہمکو دکھا اور اپنی نجات ہمکو بخش۔

8. میَں سنُونگا کہ خُداوند خُدا کیا فرماتا ہے۔ کیونکہ وہ اپنے لوگوں اور اپنے مُقدسوں سے سلامتی کی باتیں کریگا۔ پر وہ پھِر حماقت کی طرف رُجُوع نہ کریں۔

9. یقیناً اُسکی نجات اُس سے ڈرنے والوں قریب ہے تاکہ جلال ہمارے مُلک میں بسے۔

10. شفقت اور راستی باہم مِل گئی ہیں صداقت اور سلامتی نے ایک دوُسرے کا بوسہ لیا ہے۔

11. راستی زمین سے نکلتی ہے اور صداقت آسمان پر سے جھانکتی ہے۔

12. جو کچھ اچّھا ہے وہی خُداوند عطا فرمائے گا اور ہماری زمین اپنی پیداوار دیگی۔

13. صداقت اُسکے آگے آگے چلیگی اور اُسکے نقشِ قدم کو ہماری راہ بنائیگی۔
