باب 4

1. جب میں پُکاروں تو مجھے جواب دے۔ اَے میری صداقت کے خُدا! تنگی میں تُو نے مجھے کُشادگی بخشی۔ مجھ پر رحم کر اور میری دُعا سُن لے۔

2. اَے بنی آدم! کب تک میری عزت کے بدلے رُسوائی ہو گی؟ تُم کب تک بطالت سے محبت رکھو گے اور جُھوٹ کے درپے رہوگے؟(سلاہ):

3. جان رکھو کہ خُداوند نے دیندار کو اپنے لئے الگ کر رکھا ہے۔ جب میں خُداوند کو پُکارونگا تو وہ سُن لیگا۔

4. تھرتھراؤ اور گُناہ نہ کرو۔ اپنے اپنے بستر پر دِل میں سوچو اور خاموش رہو۔ (سلاہ)

5. صداقت کی قربانیاں گذرانو اور خُداوند پر تُوکل کرو۔

6. بہت سے کہتے ہیں کون ہم کو کچھ بھلائی دِکھائیگا؟ اَے خُداوند تُو اپنے چہرہ کانُور ہم پر جلوہ گر فرما۔

7. تُو نے میرے دِل کو اُس سے زیادہ خُوشی بخشی ہے جو اُ ن کو غلّا اور مَے کی فراوانی سے ہوتی تھی۔

8. میں سلامتی سے لیٹ جاؤنگا اور سورہونگا کیونکہ اَے خُداوند! فقط تُو ہی مجھے مطمئن رکھتا ہے۔
