1. Şondan soň Reb uly bir balyga Ýunusy ýuwutmagy emr etdi. Ýunus üç gije-gündizläp balygyň garnynda boldy.

2. Soňra Ýunus balygyň garnyndan öz Hudaýy Rebbe ýüzlenip, şeýle doga okady: «Jebir çekenimde, ýa Reb, çagyrdym Seni. Jogap berdiň maňa.

3. Ölüler diýarynyň goýnundan çagyrdym Seni, Eşitdiň Sen nalamy.

4. Çuňluga, deňizleriň bagryna taşladyň meni. Gurşady suwlar meni. Ähli güýçli tolkunlaryň Üstümden geçdi meniň.

5. Şonda nazaryňdan kowuldym diýdim, Eý, Seniň mukaddes ybadathanaňy Ýene nädip görerin diýdim.

6. Suw kekirdegime geldi. Ýesir düşdüm çuňluga. Başyma çolaşdy deňiz otlary.

7. Indim daglaryň köküne. Gapylary baky ýapylýan ýere düşdüm. Ýöne, eý Hudaýym Reb, janymy çuňlukdan halas etdiň.

8. Ýa Reb, jandan umyt üzenimde, Seni çagyrdym. Öz mukaddes ybadathanaňda sözümi eşitdiň.

9. Puç butlara sygynanlar Öz wepalylygyny terk etdiler.

10. Men welin alkyşly aýdymlar bilen Saňa gurbanlyk bererin. Kasamymy berjaý ederin. Gutulyş Rebdendir».

11. Reb balyga emr etdi. Balyk Ýunusy gury ýere gusdy. ‎
