1. Elihu şeýle diýdi:

2. «Seniň: „Hudaýyň öňünde hakdyryn“ diýmäň Dogry däl Eýýup!

3. Sen Hudaýa: „Günämiň Saňa näme dahyly bar? Günäsizlikden näme peýda gördüm?“ diýýärsiň.

4. Men seni we dostlaryňy Jogapsyz galdyrmaryn.

5. Göklere seredip gör, Bulutlara göz gezdir, olar senden belent.

6. Günä eden bolsaň, Hudaýa näme zyýany bar? Ýazygyň köpelse, Hudaýa zeleli näme?

7. Dogrulygyň Hudaýa ne peýdasy bar, Onuň saňa mätäçligi näme?

8. Pisligiň özüň ýaly adamlara täsiri ýetýär, Dogruçyllygyň beýleki ynsanlar üçindir.

9. Ynsanlar agyr sütem astynda perýat edýärler, Güýçlüleriň elinden gutulmak üçin ýardam soraýarlar.

10. Ýöne hiç kim: „Gijesine aýdymlar berýän Ýaradanym nirede?

11. Ol bize ýer ýüzündäki haýwanlardan köp öwredýär, Bizi gökdäki guşlardan akylly edýär“ diýmeýär.

12. Ýamanlyk edýänleriň tekepbirligi zerarly, Olar nalyş edende, Hudaý jogap bermeýär.

13. Elbetde, Hudaý boş nalyşy diňlemeýär, Gudratygüýçli oňa ähmiýet bermeýär.

14. Hudaýy görmeýärin diýseň-de, Dawaň Onuň öňündedir, Oňa garaş.

15. Indi Hudaý gaharyna jeza bermeýär, Günä gaty üns bermeýär diýip,

16. Eýýup biderek sözläp, Hiç zat bilmezden gepini köpeldýär».
