บท 82

1. พระเจ้าทรงเข้าประทับในชุมนุมชนของผู้มีอำนาจ พระองค์ทรงทำการพิพากษาท่ามกลางพระทั้งหลายว่า

2. "ท่านจะตัดสินอย่างอยุติธรรมและแสดงความลำเอียงข้างคนชั่วนานเท่าใด เซลาห์

3. จงให้ความยุติธรรมแก่คนยากจนและกำพร้าพ่อ จงดำรงสิทธิของผู้ที่ทุกข์ยากและคนขัดสน

4. จงช่วยคนยากจนและคนขัดสนให้พ้น ช่วยเขาให้พ้นจากมือของคนชั่ว"

5. เขาทั้งหลายไม่รู้และไม่เข้าใจ เขาเดินไปมาในความมืด รากทั้งสิ้นของแผ่นดินโลกก็หวั่นไหว

6. เราได้กล่าวว่า "ท่านทั้งหลายเป็นพระ เป็นบุตรองค์ผู้สูงสุด ท่านทุกคนนั่นแหละ

7. ถึงกระนั้น ท่านก็จะตายอย่างมนุษย์และล้มลงเหมือนเจ้านายคนหนึ่งคนใด"

8. ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ขอทรงลุกขึ้นพิพากษาแผ่นดินโลก เพราะบรรดาประชาชาติทั้งสิ้นจะเป็นมรดกของพระองค์
