บท 70

1. ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ขอทรงเร่งมาช่วยข้าพระองค์ให้พ้น ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขอทรงเร่งมาช่วยข้าพระองค์เถิด

2. ขอให้ผู้ที่มุ่งเอาชีวิตของข้าพระองค์ได้อายและเกิดความอลวน ขอให้ผู้ปรารถนาที่จะให้ข้าพระองค์เจ็บนั้นต้องหันกลับไปและได้ความอัปยศ

3. ผู้ที่พูดว่า "อ้าฮา อ้าฮา" นั้นขอให้ต้องหันกลับไปเพราะเป็นผลแห่งความอายของเขา

4. ขอให้บรรดาผู้ที่แสวงพระองค์เปรมปรีดิ์และยินดีในพระองค์ ขอให้บรรดาผู้ที่รักความรอดของพระองค์ กล่าวเสมอว่า "พระเจ้าใหญ่ยิ่งนัก"

5. แต่ข้าพระองค์ยากจนและขัดสน ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ขอทรงรีบมาหาข้าพระองค์ ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขออย่าทรงรอช้า พระองค์ทรงเป็นผู้อุปถัมภ์และผู้ช่วยให้พ้นของข้าพระองค์
