บท 43

1. ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ขอทรงแก้แทนข้าพระองค์ และต่อสู้คดีของข้าพระองค์ต่อประชาชาติที่ไร้ธรรม ขอทรงช่วยข้าพระองค์ให้พ้นจากคนล่อลวงและคนอธรรม

2. เพราะพระองค์ทรงเป็นพระเจ้าแห่งกำลังของข้าพระองค์ ไฉนพระองค์ทรงทอดทิ้งข้าพระองค์เสีย ไฉนข้าพระองค์จึงต้องไปอย่างเป็นทุกข์เพราะการบีบบังคับของศัตรู

3. ขอทรงโปรดใช้ความสว่างและความจริงของพระองค์ออกไปให้นำข้าพระองค์ ให้ทั้งสองนำข้าพระองค์มาถึงภูเขาบริสุทธิ์ของพระองค์ และถึงพลับพลาของพระองค์

4. แล้วข้าพระองค์จะไปยังแท่นบูชาของพระเจ้า ถึงพระเจ้าซึ่งเป็นความชื่นบานยอดยิ่งของข้าพระองค์ และข้าแต่พระเจ้า พระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ ข้าพระองค์จะถวายเพลงสดุดีแก่พระองค์ด้วยพิณเขาคู่

5. จิตใจของข้าพเจ้าเอ๋ย ไฉนเจ้าจึงฝ่ออยู่ ไฉนเจ้าจึงกระสับกระส่ายอยู่ในข้าพเจ้า จงหวังใจในพระเจ้า เพราะข้าพเจ้าจะยังคงสรรเสริญพระองค์ ผู้ทรงเป็นสวัสดิภาพแห่งสีหน้าของข้าพเจ้า และพระเจ้าของข้าพเจ้า
