1. บรรดาผู้ที่วางใจในพระเยโฮวาห์ก็เหมือนภูเขาศิโยน ซึ่งไม่หวั่นไหว แต่ดำรงอยู่เป็นนิตย์

2. ภูเขาอยู่รอบเยรูซาเล็มฉันใด พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงอยู่รอบประชาชนของพระองค์ ตั้งแต่เวลานี้สืบต่อไปเป็นนิตย์ฉันนั้น

3. เพราะคทาของคนชั่วจะไม่พักอยู่เหนือแผ่นดินที่ตกเป็นส่วนของคนชอบธรรม เกรงว่าคนชอบธรรมจะยื่นมือออกกระทำความชั่วช้า

4. ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขอทรงประกอบการดีต่อผู้ทำดี และต่อผู้เที่ยงธรรมในจิตใจของเขา

5. แต่บรรดาผู้ที่หันเข้าหาทางคดของเขา พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงพาเขาไปพร้อมกับคนทำความชั่วช้า แต่สันติภาพจะมีอยู่ในอิสราเอล
