2. കർത്താവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേൾക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എന്റെ യാചനകൾക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കേണമേ.

3. യഹോവേ, നീ അകൃത്യങ്ങളെ ഓർമ്മവെച്ചാൽ കർത്താവേ, ആർ നിലനില്ക്കും?

4. എങ്കിലും നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്റെ പക്കൽ വിമോചനം ഉണ്ടു.

5. ഞാൻ യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ വചനത്തിൽ ഞാൻ പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാൾ, ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാൾ എന്റെ ഉള്ളം യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. യിസ്രായേലേ, യഹോവയിൽ പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചുകൊൾക; യഹോവെക്കു കൃപയും അവന്റെപക്കൽ ധാരാളം വീണ്ടെടുപ്പും ഉണ്ടു.

8. അവൻ യിസ്രായേലിനെ അവന്റെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളിൽനിന്നൊക്കെയും വീണ്ടെടുക്കും.
