2. നീ എന്റെ ശരണമായ ദൈവമല്ലോ; നീ എന്നെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതെന്തു? ശത്രുവിന്റെ ഉപദ്രവംഹേതുവായി ഞാൻ ദുഃഖിച്ചു നടക്കേണ്ടിവന്നതുമെന്തു?

3. നിന്റെ പ്രകാശവും സത്യവും അയച്ചുതരേണമേ; അവ എന്നെ നടത്തുമാറാകട്ടെ; നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർവ്വതത്തിലേക്കും തിരുനിവാസത്തിലേക്കും അവ എന്നെ എത്തിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.

4. ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പീഠത്തിങ്കലേക്കു, എന്റെ പരമാനന്ദമായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കു ചെല്ലും; ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, കിന്നരംകെണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും.

5. എന്റെ ആത്മാവേ, നീ വിഷാദിച്ചു ഉള്ളിൽ ഞരങ്ങുന്നതു എന്തു? ദൈവത്തിൽ പ്രത്യാശ വെക്കുക; അവൻ എന്റെ മുഖപ്രകാശകരക്ഷയും എന്റെ ദൈവവുമാകുന്നു എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ഇനിയും അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കും.
