1. Ngelo xesha uya kusuka eme uMikayeli, umthetheli omkhulu, omela oonyana babantu bakowenu. Kuya kubakho ixesha lembandezelo elingazanga libekho elinjalo, kususela koko lwabakhoyo uhlanga, kude kube nangelo xesha. Ngelo xesha baya kusinda abantu bakowenu, bonke abafunyenwe bebhaliwe encwadini.

2. Kuya kuvuka abaninzi kwabaleleyo eluthulini lomhlaba, aba baye ebomini obungunaphakade, naba baye kwingcikivo nakwinyumnyezi engunaphakade.

3. Abo ke banengqiqo baya kukhazimla njengokukhazimla kwesibhakabhaka; nababajikela abaninzi ebulungiseni bakhazimle njengeenkwenkwezi ngonaphakade kanaphakade.

4. Wena ke, Daniyeli, wavalele amazwi la, uyitywine incwadi, kude kube lixesha lokuphela. Baninzi abaya kuyiphengulula, kwandiswe ukwazi.

5. Mna, Daniyeli, ndabona: nabo abanye ababini bemi, omnye nganeno ngaseludinini lomlambo, omnye ngaphesheya ngaseludinini lomlambo.

6. Wathi omnye kwindoda leyo yambethe ilinen emhlophe, ebiphezu kwamanzi omlambo, Koda kube nini na, ukuphela kwezi zinto zibalulekileyo?

7. Ndeva indoda eyambethe ilinen emhlophe, ebiphezu kwamanzi omlambo, yasiphakamisela ezulwini isandla sayo sokunene nesokhohlo sayo, yafunga ohleli ngonaphakade, isithi, Kuya kusa exesheni, emaxesheni amabini amisiweyo, nasesiqingatheni sexesha; kwakupheliswa ukuhlekezwa kwamandla abantu abangcwele, ziya kupheliswa zonke ezo zinto.

8. Mna ke ndeva, andaqonda; ndathi, Nkosi yam, yiyiphi na eyokuphela kwezi zinto?

9. Yathi, Hamba, Daniyeli, kuba amazwi aya kuvalelwa, atywinwe kude kube lixesha lokuphela.

10. Abaninzi baya kuzenza nyulu, bazenze mhlophe, banyibilikiswe; ke abangendawo baya kwenza okungendawo. Abangendawo bonke abayi kukuqonda oko, kodwa abanengqiqo baya kukuqonda.

11. Kususela kwelo xesha kwasuswayo inkonzo yamaxesha onke, ukuze zimiswe izinto ezinezothe eziphanzisayo, ziintsuku eziliwaka, elinamakhulu amabini, anamanci asithoba.

12. Unoyolo olinde wafika kwiintsuku eziliwaka, elinamakhulu amathathu, anamanci mathathu anesihlanu.

13. Wena ke, hamba uye ekupheleni. Uya kuphumla, uvuke, uye eqashisweni lakho ekupheleni kwemihla.
