فصل 95

1. بیایید خداوند را بسراییم و صخره نجات خود را آواز شادمانی دهیم!

2. به حضور او با حمد نزدیک بشویم! و با مزامیر او را آواز شادمانی دهیم!

3. زیرا که یهوه، خدای بزرگ است،

4. و پادشاه عظیم بر جمیع خدایان. نشیبهای زمین در دست وی است و فرازهای کوه‌ها از آن او.

5. دریا از آن اوست، او آن را بساخت؛ و دستهای وی خشکی را مصور نمود.

6. بیایید عبادت و سجده نماییم و به حضور آفریننده خود خداوند زانو زنیم!

7. زیرا که او خدای ما است! و ما قوم مرتع و گلهٔ دست او می‌باشیم! امروز کاش آواز او را می‌شنیدید!

8. دل خود را سخت مسازید، مثل مریبا، مانند یوم مسّا در صحرا.

9. چون اجداد شما مرا آزمودند و تجربه کردند و اعمال مرا دیدند.

10. چهل سال از آن قوم محزون بودم و گفتم قوم گمراه دل هستند که طُرُق مرا نشناختند.

11. پس در غضب خود قسم خوردم، که به آرامیِ من داخل نخواهند شد.
