فصل 121

1. چشمان خود را به سوی کوه‌ها برمیافرازم، که از آنجا اعانت من می‌آید.

2. اعانت من از جانب خداوند است، که آسمان و زمین را آفرید.

3. او نخواهد گذاشت که پای تو لغزش خورد. او که حافظ توست نخواهد خوابید.

4. اینک، او که حافظ اسرائیل است، نمی‌خوابد و به خواب نمی‌رود.

5. خداوند حافظ تو می‌باشد. خداوند به دست راستت سایه تو است.

6. آفتاب در روز به تو اذّیت نخواهد رسانید و نه ماهتاب در شب.

7. خداوند تو را از هر بدی نگاه می‌دارد. او جان تو را حفظ خواهد کرد.

8. خداوند خروج و دخولت را نگاه خواهد داشت، از الآن و تا ابدالآباد.
