فصل 97

1. خداوند سلطنت گرفته است، پس زمینشادی کند و جزیره‌های بسیار مسرور گردند.

2. ابرها و ظلمتِ غلیظ گرداگرد اوست. عدل و انصاف قاعده تخت اوست.

3. آتش پیش روی وی می‌رود و دشمنانِ او را به اطرافش می‌سوزاند.

4. برقهایش ربع مسکون را روشن می‌سازد. زمین این را بدید و بلرزید.

5. کوه‌ها از حضور خداوند مثل موم گداخته می‌شود، از حضور خداوند تمامی جهان.

6. آسمانها عدالتاو را اعلام می‌کنند و جمیع قومها جلال او را می‌بینند.

7. همهٔ پرستندگان بتهای تراشیده خجل می‌شوند که به بتها فخر می‌نمایند. ای جمیع خدایان او را بپرستید.

8. صهیون شنید و شادمان شد و دختران یهودا مسرور گردیدند، ای خداوند به‌سبب داوریهای تو.

9. زیرا که تو ای خداوند بر تمامی روی زمین متعال هستی. بر جمیع خدایان، بسیار اعلیٰ هستی.

10. ای شما که خداوند را دوست می‌دارید، از بدی نفرت کنید! او حافظ جانهای مقدّسان خود است. ایشان را از دست شریران می‌رهاند.

11. نور برای عادلان کاشته شده است و شادمانی برای راست‌دلان.

12. ای عادلان، در خداوند شادمان باشید! و ذکر قدّوسیّت او را حمد بگویید.
