باب 129

1. اِسرائؔیل اب یوں کہے اُنہوں نے میرے جوانی سے اب تک بار بار مجھے ستایا۔

2. ہاں اُنہوں نے میری جوانی سے اب تک بار بار مجھے ستایا۔ تو بھی وہ مجھ پر غالب نہ آئے ۔

3. ہلواہوں نے میری پیٹھ پر ہل چلائے اور لمبی لمبی ریگھاریاں بنائیں۔

4. خُداوند صادق ہے۔ اُس نے شریروں کی رسیاں کاٹ ڈالیں۔

5. صیِوُؔن سے نفرت رکھنے والے سب شرمندہ اور پسپا ہوں۔

6. وہ چھت پر کی گھاس کی مانند ہوں۔ جو بڑھنے سے پہلےہی سوکھ جاتی ہے۔

7. جِس سے فصل کاٹنے والے اپنی مُٹھی کو اور پولے باندھنے والا اپنے دامن کو نہیں بھرتا۔

8. نہ آنے جانے والے یہ کہتے ہیں کہ تُم پر خُداوند کی برکت ہو۔ ہم خُداوند کے نام سے تم کو دُعا دیتے ہیں۔
