1. Fyrownyň Gazany ýeňmezinden öň, piliştliler hakynda Ýermeýa Rebbiň sözi geldi:

2. «Reb şeýle diýýär: „Demirgazykdan suwlar joşup, derýa kimin dolup-daşar-da, ýurdy we ondaky ähli zatlary, şäheri hem ýaşaýjylaryny basar. Adamlar dady-perýat ederler, ýurduň bütin halky ahy-nala çeker.

3. Daýaw atlaryň toýnak sesinden, söweş arabalarynyň takyrdysyndan, tigirleriniň seslerinden ýaňa elleri tapdan düşen atalar öwrülip, çagalaryna ýardam bermezler.

4. Çünki ähli piliştlileriň ýok ediljek güni geler. Sora bilen Sidona kömek edip biljek aman galanlaryň ählisi ýok ediler. Reb Kaptoryň kenarynda aman galan piliştlileri derbi-dagyn eder.

5. Gaza saçyny ýolar, Aşkelon sus bolar. Eý, barja aman galanlar, haçana çenli özüňizi ýaralajak?

6. Eý, Rebbiň gylyjy! Sen haçana çenli köşeşjek däl? Gynyňa gir, ynjal-da, asuda bol.

7. Reb oňa tabşyryk berensoň, ol nädip köşeşsin? Ol ony ol ýere – Aşkelona, deňiz kenaryna garşy ýollady“».
