Psalmi 39

2. Bejah nem i glas ne pustih; ćutah i o dobru. Ali se tuga moja podiže,

3. Zapali se srce moje u meni, u mislima mojim razgore se oganj; progovorih jezikom svojim:

4. Kaži mi, Gospode, kraj moj, i dokle će trajati dani moji? Da znam kako sam ništa.

7. Pa šta da čekam, Gospode? Nada je moja u Tebi.

8. Iz svega bezakonja mog izbavi me, ne daj me bezumnome na podsmeh.

9. Nem sam, neću otvoriti usta svojih; jer si me Ti udario.

10. Olakšaj mi udarac svoj, silna ruka Tvoja ubi me.

12. Slušaj molitvu moju, Gospode, i čuj jauk moj. Gledajući suze moje nemoj ćutati. Jer sam gost u Tebe i došljak kao i svi stari moji.

13. Nemoj me više gnevno gledati, pa ću odahnuti pre nego otidem i više me ne bude.
