فصل 148

1. هلّلویاه! خداوند را از آسمانتسبیح بخوانید! در اعلی علیّین او را تسبیح بخوانید!

2. ای همهٔ فرشتگانش او را تسبیح بخوانید. ای همهٔ لشکرهای او او را تسبیح بخوانید.

3. ای آفتاب و ماه او را تسبیح بخوانید. ای همهٔ ستارگان نور او را تسبیح بخوانید.

4. ای فلکالافلاک او را تسبیح بخوانید، و ای آبهایی که فوق آسمانهایید.

5. نام خداوند را تسبیح بخوانند زیرا که او امر فرمود پس آفریده شدند.

6. و آنها را پایدار نمود تا ابدالآباد و قانونی قرار داد که از آن در نگذرند.

7. خداوند را از زمین تسبیح بخوانید، ای نهنگان و جمیع لجّه‌ها.

8. ای آتش و تگرگ وبرف و مه و باد تند که فرمان او را به جا می‌آورید.

9. ای کوه‌ها و تمام تلّها و درختان میوه‌دار و همهٔ سروهای آزاد.

10. ای وحوش و جمیع بهایم و حشرات و مرغان بالدار.

11. ای پادشاهان زمین و جمیع امّت‌ها و سروران و همهٔ داوران جهان.

12. ای جوانان و دوشیزگان نیز و پیران و اطفال.

13. نام خداوند را تسبیح بخوانند، زیرا نام او تنها متعال است و جلال او فوق زمین و آسمان.

14. و او شاخی برای قوم خود برافراشته است، تا فخر باشد برای همهٔ مقدّسان او، یعنی برای بنی‌اسرائیل که قوم مقرّب او می‌باشند. هلّلویاه!
