1. به سوی تو چشمان خود را برمیافرازم، ای که بر آسمانها جلوس فرمودهای!
2. اینک، مثل چشمان غلامان به سوی آقایان خود، و مثل چشمان کنیزی به سوی خاتون خویش، همچنان چشمان ما به سوی یهوّه خدای ماست تا بر ما کرم بفرماید.
3. ای خداوند بر ما کرم فرما، بر ما کرم فرما زیرا چه بسیار از اهانت پر شدهایم.
4. چه بسیار جان ما پر شده است، از استهزای مُستَریحان و اهانت متکبّران.
