فصل 75

1. تو را حمد می‌گوییم! ای خدا تو را حمد می‌گوییم! زیرا نام تو نزدیک است و مردم کارهای عجیب تو را ذکر می‌کنند.

2. هنگامی که به زمان معین برسم، براستی داوری خواهم کرد.

3. زمین و جمیع ساکنانش گداخته شده‌اند. من ارکان آن را برقرار نموده‌ام، سِلاه.

4. متکبران را گفتم، فخر مکنید! و به شریران که شاخ خود را میفرازید.

5. شاخهای خود را بهبلندی میفرازید. و با گردنکشی سخنان تکبرآمیز مگویید.

6. زیرا نه از مشرق و نه از مغرب، و نه از جنوب سرافرازی می‌آید.

7. لیکن خدا، داور است. این را به زیر می‌اندازد و آن را سرافراز می‌نماید.

8. زیرا در دست خداوند کاسهای است و بادهٔ آن پرجوش. از شراب ممزوج پر است که از آن می‌ریزد. و امّا دُرده‌ایش را جمیع شریران جهان افشرده، خواهند نوشید.

9. و امّا من، تا به ابد ذکر خواهم کرد و برای خدای یعقوب ترنم خواهم نمود.

10. جمیع شاخهای شریران را خواهم برید و امّا شاخهای صالحین برافراشته خواهد شد.
