1. نزد خداوند در تنگی خود فریاد کردم و مرا اجابت فرمود.

2. ای خداوند جان مرا خلاصی ده از لب دروغ و از زبان حیلهگر.

3. چه چیز به تو داده شود و چه چیز بر تو افزوده گردد، ای زبان حیلهگر؟

4. تیرهای تیز جبّاران با اخگرهای طاق!

5. وای بر من که در ماشک مأوا گزیده‌ام و در خیمه‌های قیدار ساکن شده‌ام.

6. چه طویل شد سکونت جان من با کسی که سلامتی را دشمن می‌دارد!

7. من از اهل سلامتی هستم، لیکن چونسخن می‌گویم، ایشان آماده جنگ می‌باشند.
