1. ದೇವರಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಮೂರ್ಖನು ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವರು ಕೆಟ್ಟುಹೋಗಿ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವನು ಯಾವನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
2. ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತನು ಇದ್ದಾನೋ ಎಂದು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಣ್ಣಿಟ್ಟನು.
3. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಏಕವಾಗಿ ಹೊಲೆ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವನು ಇಲ್ಲ; ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
4. ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸದೆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ಅಪರಾಧಮಾಡಿದವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
5. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಭಯಭ್ರಾಂತ ರಾದರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಸಂತತಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.
6. ಕರ್ತನು ಬಡವನ ಆಶ್ರಯವಾಗಿರು ವದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಅವನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
7. ಚೀಯೋನಿನಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯು ಬರಲಿ; ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿ ಸುವನು, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುವನು.
