1. Ngomnyaka wesibini kaDariyo ukumkani, ngenyanga yesithandathu, ngosuku lokuqala enyangeni leyo, kwafika ilizwi likaYehova ngoHagayi umprofeti, kuZerubhabheli unyana kaShalatiyeli, ibamba lakwaYuda, nakuYoshuwa unyana kaYotsadaki, umbingeleli omkhulu, lisithi,
2. Utsho uYehova wemikhosi ukuthi, Aba bantu bathi, Asikabi lixesha lokuba kuziwe, asikabi lixesha lokuba yakhiwe indlu kaYehova.
3. Kwafika ke ilizwi likaYehova ngoHagayi umprofeti, lisithi,
4. Lixesha na kuni nina, lokuba nihlale ezindlwini zenu zalekiwe, ibe le ndlu yam yona ilinxuwa?
5. Kaloku ke, utsho uYehova wemikhosi ukuthi, Zigqaleni iindlela zenu.
6. Nahlwayela kakhulu, ningenise kancinane; niyadla, ningahluthi; nisela, ninganeli kukusela; nambatha, ningevi ntsitho; noziqeshisayo uziqeshisela ukuba agalele engxoweni enezikroba.
7. Utsho uYehova wemikhosi ukuthi, Iindlela zenu zigqaleni.
8. Nyukani niye kweleentaba, nize nemithi, niyakhe indlu le; ndokholiswa ke yiyo, ndizizukise; utsho uYehova.
9. Nalindela into eninzi, nantso isuke yaba yinto encinane; nithe nakuza nayo ekhaya, ndayiphephetha. Ngani ke? utsho uYehova wemikhosi; ngenxa yendlu yam, yona le ilinxuwa, nibe nina elowo ebalekela endlwini yakhe.
10. Ngenxa yoko, ngenxa yenu, izulu liyala nombethe, nomhlaba wala neendyebo zawo.
11. Ndabiza ukoma phezu kwelizwe, naphezu kweentaba, naphezu kwengqolowa, naphezu kwewayini entsha, naphezu kweoli, naphezu kwezinto zonke eziphuma emhlabeni, naphezu kwabantu, naphezu kweenkomo, naphezu kokuxelenga konke kwezandla.
12. Baliphulaphula ke ooZerubhabheli unyana kaShalatiyeli, noYoshuwa unyana kaYotsadaki, umbingeleli omkhulu, namasalela onke abantu, ilizwi likaYehova uThixo wabo, ngokwamazwi kaHagayi umprofeti, njengoko wayemthumile uYehova uThixo wabo; boyika abantu ebusweni bukaYehova.
13. Wakuthetha uHagayi umthunywa kaYehova ukuthunywa kwakhe nguYehova ebantwini, wathi, Ndinani, utsho uYehova.
14. UYehova wawuvuselela umoya kaZerubhabheli unyana kaShalatiyeli, ibamba lakwaYuda, nomoya kaYoshuwa unyana kaYotsadaki, umbingeleli omkhulu, nomoya wamasalela onke abantu. Beza ke, bawenza umsebenzi endlwini kaYehova wemikhosi, uThixo wabo,
15. ngosuku lwamashumi omabini anesine lwenyanga yesithandathu, ngomnyaka wesibini kakumkani uDariyo.
