Psalmid 48
Peatükk 48
1. Korahi laste laul ja lauluviis.
2. Suur on Issand ja väga kiidetav meie Jumala linnas tema pühal mäel.
3. Kaunisti tõuseb kõrgele kogu maa rõõm, Siioni mägi kauges põhjas, see suure kuninga linn.
4. Jumal on tema kuninglikes kodades tuntud kindla varjupaigana.
5. Sest vaata, kuningad kogunesid ning läksid üheskoos tema vastu.
6. Nemad nägid ja tardusid, kohkusid, põgenesid ära.
7. Värin valdas neid seal, valu, nagu sünnitajal naisel.
8. Idatuulega sa murrad katki Tarsise laevad.
9. Nagu me oleme kuulnud, nõnda me näeme seda vägede Issanda linnas, oma Jumala linnas. Jumal lasku teda kindlasti püsida igavesti! Sela.
10. Me mõtiskleme su heldusest, oh Jumal, keset sinu templit.
11. Nõnda nagu su nimi, Jumal, ulatub ka sinu ülistus ilmamaa äärteni; su parem käsi on täis õiglust.
12. Siioni mägi rõõmutseb, Juuda tütred ilutsevad su kohtuotsuste tõttu.
13. Kõndige ümber Siioni ning tehke tiir ta ümber, lugege ära ta tornid!
14. Pange hästi tähele ta kindlustust; kõndige läbi ta kuninglikud hooned, et võiksite jutustada neist tulevasele põlvele!
