1. Laulujuhatajale: Korahi laste õpetuslaul.
2. Otsekui hirv igatseb veeojade järele, nõnda igatseb mu hing sinu juurde, Jumal!
3. Mu hing januneb Jumala järele, elava Jumala järele; millal ma tulen ja näen Jumala palet?
4. Mu silmavesi on mulle leivaks ööd ja päevad, sest mu vastu öeldakse kogu päev: 'Kus on su Jumal?'
5. Ma valan välja oma hinge, meenutades seda, kuidas ma läksin läbi rahvamurru, keda ma juhtisin Jumala kotta pühapidajate hõiske- ja tänuhääle saatel.
6. Miks sa oled nii rõhutud, mu hing, ja nii rahutu mu sees? Oota Jumalat, sest ma tahan teda veel tänada ta palge abi eest!
7. Mu Jumal, mu hing on rõhutud mu sees! Seepärast ma tuletan sind meelde Jordanimaal ja Hermoni tippudel ja Mitsari mäel.
8. Sügavus hüüab sügavusele sinu koskede kohisemises; kõik su veevood ja su lained käivad minust üle.
9. Päeval annab Issand käsu oma heldusele ja öösel kostab minu laul temale, palve mu elu Jumala poole.
10. Ma ütlen Jumalale, oma kaljule: 'Mispärast sa oled mu unustanud? Mispärast ma pean käima kurvalt oma vaenlase surve all?'
