1. Добре воно – Господа прославляти в псалмах співати твоєму імені, Всевишній;
2. звіщати вранці твою милість, ночами – твою вірність, –
3. на десятиструнній гарфі й на цитрі. і піснями на гуслах.
4. Бо веселиш мене, о Господи, учинками твоїми, і я ділами рук твоїх радію.
5. Які великі твої діла, Господи! Думки твої вельми глибокі.
6. Безумний не знає, дурень того не розуміє.
7. Хоч грішники, немов трава, буяють і процвітають усі лиходії, та все одно згинуть навіки.
8. Ти ж, Господи, повіки на висотах!
9. Ось бо вороги твої, Господи, ось бо вороги твої загинуть, розсипляться усі, що творять беззаконня.
10. Ти підніс рога мого, мов буйволового рога, мене намащено єлеєм найчистішим.
11. І око моє погордувало моїми ворогами; а про злих, що повстали проти мене, вуха мої біду почули.
12. Праведник квітнутиме, немов пальма; він виженеться вгору, мов кедр ливанський
13. Посаджені в Господнім домі, вони на дворах Бога нашого квітнутимуть.
14. Вони й на старість плодовиті будуть, будуть ядерні й соковиті,
15. щоб возвістити, що Господь правий, – моя скеля, – і що нема неправди в ньому.
