1. தேவனே, உமது நாமத்தினிமித்தம் என்னை இரட்சித்து உமது வல்லமையினால் எனக்கு நியாயஞ்செய்யும்.
2. தேவனே, என் விண்ணப்பத்தைக்கேட்டு, என் வாயின் வார்த்தைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடும்.
3. அந்நியர் எனக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்புகிறார்கள்; கொடியர் என் பிராணனை வாங்கத் தேடுகிறார்கள்; தேவனைத் தங்களுக்கு முன்பாக நிறுத்தி நோக்கார்கள். (சேலா.)
4. இதோ, தேவன் எனக்குச் சகாயர்; ஆண்டவர் என் ஆத்துமாவை ஆதரிக்கிறவர்களோடே இருக்கிறார்.
5. அவர் என் சத்துருக்களுக்குத் தீமைக்குத் தீமையைச் சரிக்கட்டுவார், உமது சத்தியத்தினிமித்தம் அவர்களை நிர்மூலமாக்கும்.
6. உற்சாகத்துடன் நான் உமக்குப்பலியிடுவேன்; கர்த்தாவே, உமது நாமத்தைத் துதிப்பேன், அது நலமானது.
