1. கர்த்தாவே, எதுவரைக்கும் என்னை மறந்திருப்பீர், எதுவரைக்கும் உம்முடைய முகத்தை எனக்கு மறைப்பீர்?
2. என் இருதயத்திலே சஞ்சலத்தை நித்தம் நித்தம் வைத்து, எதுவரைக்கும் என் ஆத்துமாவிலே ஆலோசனைபண்ணிக்கொண்டிருப்பேன். எதுவரைக்கும் என் சத்துரு என்மேல் தன்னை உயர்த்துவான்?
3. என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே நீர் நோக்கிப்பார்த்து, எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தருளும்; நான் மரணநித்திரை அடையாதபடிக்கு என் கண்களைத் தெளிவாக்கும்.
4. அவனை மேற்கொண்டேன் என்று என் பகைஞன் சொல்லாதபடிக்கும், நான் தள்ளாடுகிறதினால் என் சத்துருக்கள் களிகூராதபடிக்கும் இப்படிச்செய்தருளும்.
5. நான் உம்முடைய கிருபையின்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருக்கிறேன்; உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பினால் என் இருதயம் களிகூரும்.
6. கர்த்தர் எனக்கு நன்மைசெய்தபடியால் அவரைப் பாடுவேன்.
