章 122
1. 人々がわたしにむかって「われらは主の家に行こう」と言ったとき、わたしは喜んだ。
2. エルサレムよ、われらの足はあなたの門のうちに立っている。
3. しげくつらなった町のように建てられているエルサレムよ、
4. もろもろの部族すなわち主の部族が、そこに上って来て主のみ名に感謝することは、イスラエルのおきてである。
5. そこにさばきの座、ダビデの家の王座が設けられてあった。
6. エルサレムのために平安を祈れ、「エルサレムを愛する者は栄え、
7. その城壁のうちに平安があり、もろもろの殿のうちに安全があるように」と。
8. わが兄弟および友のために、わたしは「エルサレムのうちに平安があるように」と言い、
9. われらの神、主の家のために、わたしはエルサレムのさいわいを求めるであろう。
