অধ্যায় 87

1. জেরুশালেমের পবিত্র পাহাড়ে ঈশ্বর তাঁর মন্দির নির্মাণ করেছেন|

2. ইস্রায়েলের য়ে কোন জায়গার চেয়ে সিয়োনের ফটকগুলোকে ঈশ্বর অনেক বেশী ভালোবাসেন|

3. হে ঈশ্বরের নগরী, লোকে তোমার সম্পর্কে বিস্ময়কর কথা বলে|

4. ঈশ্বর তাঁর সব লোকের তালিকা রাখেন| ওদের মধ্যে কিছু লোক মিশর ও বাবিলে বাস করে| ওদের মধ্যে কিছু লোক পলেষ্টীয়, সোর ও কূশ দেশে জন্মগ্রহণ করেছিলো|

5. যারা সিয়োনে জন্মেছে, তাদের প্রত্যেককে ঈশ্বর চেনেন| পরাত্‌পর এই নগর নির্মাণ করেছেন|

6. ঈশ্বর, তাঁর সব লোকদের তালিকা রেখেছেন| প্রত্যেকটি লোক কোথায জন্মেছে তা ঈশ্বর জানেন|

7. ঈশ্বরের লোকরা বিশেষ ছুটি উদয়াপন করতে জেরুশালেমে যায়| ওরা প্রচণ্ড সুখী| ওরা নাচছে এবং গাইছে| ওরা বলে, “জেরুশালেম থেকেই সব ভালো জিনিস আসে|”
