অধ্যায় 124

1. যদি প্রভু আমাদের দিকে না থাকতেন তাহলে কি হতে পারত? হে ই্রাযেল, আমাকে উত্তর দাও|

2. যখন লোকে আমাদের আক্রমণ করেছিলো, তখন যদি প্রভু আমাদের দিকে না থাকতেন তাহলে কি অবস্থা হত?

3. যখন আমাদের শত্রুরা আমাদের প্রতি ক্রুদ্ধ হয়েছিলো, তখন হয়তো তারা আমাদের জ্য়ান্ত গিলে ফেলত|

4. আমাদের শত্রুরা আমাদের বন্যার মত ধুয়ে দিয়ে য়েতো, নদীর মত ডুবিয়ে দিয়ে য়েতো|

5. ঐ গর্বিত লোকরা মুখের ওপর ছাড়িযে যাওয়া জলের মত হত এবং আমাদের ডুবিয়ে দিত|

6. প্রভুর প্রশংসা কর! প্রভু আমাদের শত্রুদের হাতে, আমাদের ধরা পড়তে ও হত হতে দেন নি|

7. আমরা সেই পাখির মত, য়ে জালে জড়িয়ে পড়েও পালিয়ে গিয়েছিলো| জাল ছিঁড়ে গেল এবং আমরা পালিয়ে গেলাম|

8. প্রভুর কাছ থেকে আমাদের সাহায্য আসে| প্রভুই স্বর্গ ও পৃথিবী সৃষ্টি করেছেন|
