1. اور اخسویرس بادشاہ نے زمین پر اور سمندر کے جزیروں پر خراج مقرر کیا۔

2. اور اس کے زور اور اقتدار کے سب کام اور مردکی کی عظمت کا مفصل حاں جہاں تک بادشاہ نے اسے ترقی دی تھی کیا وہ مادی اور فارس کے بادشاہوں کی تواریخ کی کتاب میں قلم بند نہیں؟۔

3. کیونکہ یہودی مردکی اخسویرس بادشاہ سے دوسرے درجہ پر تھا اور سب یہودیوں میں معزز اور اپنے بھائیوں کی ساری جماعت میں مقبول تھا اور اپنی قوم کا خیر خواہ رہا اور اپنی ساری اولاد سے سلامتی کی باتیں کرتا تھا۔
