فصل 16

1. و قرعه‌ برای‌ بنی‌یوسف‌ به‌ سمت مشرق‌، از اُرْدُن‌ اریحا به‌ طرف‌ آبهای‌ اریحا تا صحرایی‌ كه‌ از اریحا به‌ سوی‌ كوه‌ بیت‌ئیل‌ بر می‌آید، بیرون‌ آمد.

2. و از بیت‌ئیل‌ تا لوز برآمده‌، به‌ سرحد اَرْكیان‌ تا عَطاروت‌ گذشت‌.

3. و به‌ سمت‌ مغرب‌ به‌ سرحد یفلیطیان‌ تا كنار بیت‌حورون‌ پایین‌ و تا جازَرِ پایین‌ آمد، و انتهایش‌ تا دریا بود.

4. پس‌ پسران‌ یوسف‌، مَنَسَّی‌ و افرایم‌، ملك‌ خود را گرفتند.

5. و حدود بنی‌افرایم‌ به‌ حسب‌ قبایل‌ ایشان‌ چنین‌ بود كه‌ حد شرقی‌ ملك‌ ایشان‌ عطاروت‌ اَدّار تا بیت‌حورونِ بالا بود.

6. و حد غربی‌ ایشان‌ به‌ طرف‌ شمال‌ نزد مَكْمِیت‌ برآمد و حد ایشان‌ به‌ سمت‌ مشرق‌ به‌تأنه‌ شیلوه‌ برگشته‌، به‌ طرف‌ مشرقِ یانُوحَه‌ از آن‌ گذشت‌.

7. و از یانوحه‌ به‌ عطاروت‌ و نَعْرَه‌ پایین‌ آمده‌، به‌ اریحا رسید و به‌ اُرْدُن‌ منتهی‌ شد.

8. و سرحد غربی‌ آن‌ از تَفّوُح‌ تا وادی قانَه‌ رفت‌ و آخر آن‌ به‌ دریا بود. این‌ است‌مِلك‌ سبط‌ بنی‌افرایم‌ به‌ حسب‌ قبایل‌ ایشان‌.

9. علاوه‌ بر شهرهایی‌ كه‌ از میان‌ ملك‌ بن‌مَنَسَّی‌ برای‌ بنی‌افرایم‌ جدا شده‌ بود، جمیع‌ شهرها با دهات‌ آنها بود.

10. و كنعانیان‌ را كه‌ در جازَر ساكن‌ بودند، بیرون‌ نكردند. پس‌ كنعانیان‌ تا امروز در میان‌ افرایم‌ ساكنند، و برای‌ جزیه‌، بندگان‌ شدند.
