Kapitulo 45

1. Ang pulong nga gipamulong ni Jeremias nga manalagna kang Baruch ang anak nga lalake ni Nerias, sa pagsulat niya niining mga pulonga sa usa ka basahon gikan sa baba ni Jeremias sa ikaupat ka tuig ni Joacim ang anak nga lalake ni Josias, nga hari sa Juda, nga nagaingon:

2. Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova, ang Dios sa Israel, nganha kanimo, Oh Baruch:

3. Ikaw nagaingon: Alaut ako karon! kay gidugangan ni Jehova ang kaguol sa akong kasakit; gibiyaan ako sa akong mga pag-agulo, ug ako wala makakaplag ug pagpahulay.

4. Busa mao kini ang igaingon mo kaniya: Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova: Ania karon, kanang akong gitukod akong bungkagon, ug kanang akong gitanum, akong lukahon; ug kini sa tibook nga yuta.

5. Ug nangita ba ikaw sa mga dagkung butang alang sa imong kaugalingon? ayaw pagpangita kanila; kay, ania karon, ipadala ko ang kadautan ibabaw sa tanang unod, nagaingon si Jehova: apan ang imong kinabuhi ihatag ko kanimo ingon nga tukbonon diha sa tanang mgadapit nga imong pagaadtoan.
